Our story.

When Matt and Kate met in San Francisco, he was a successful stock broker and she was a former academic, married to someone else. Both felt trapped in lives that left far too little space for passion. Matt asked Kate to join him as a co-producer and vocalist on his solo album; she agreed, and they began to think they should explore a more permanent partnership—both musically and romantically. Feeling called to take bold risks, they took a long look at their lives and steered hard left in to their dreams, leaving a marriage, careers, and their homes in the process. They now write music together as Love or Money, and the songs reflect the honesty, openness, and courage that has come to define their relationship and their lives.
